New LED lighting in the Paintings Gallery

The conversion of the lighting to energy-saving LED technology in the entire museum rooms of the Paintings Gallery was completed at the start of the new exhibition Considering the Collection & Cranach’s Holy Productivity An Insert by Klaus Scherübel. This fulfills the criteria of sustainability and ecology to which the Academy is committed. The high-quality equipment also serves to preserve the works of art and enhance the visitor experience.
